Position: Gravimetric Laboratory Analyst I

What You'll Do:
- Manage Samples: Log and label air quality and mercury samples like a pro.
- Maintain Instruments: Operate, troubleshoot, and repair lab equipment.
- Analyze & Report: Perform analyses that follow EPA methods and share your findings.
- Keep Things Running: Clean lab equipment, manage inventory, and order supplies.
- Follow the Rules: Ensure everything you do meets standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Handle Data: Use LIMS to update project statuses and report data.
- Team Up: Collaborate with the Laboratory and Quality Assurance Managers to solve technical issues and update procedures.
What You Bring:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years in a lab (bonus points if you know EPA methods like 5, 17, 201A, 202, and 30B).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, and follow up on tasks
