Job Titile: OGI Manager
Job Summary:
The OGI Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the compliance of programs, safety, efficiency, and quality of the work being performed. The OGI Manager will be responsible for managing the following: staffing, client relationships, schedule, project budgets, documentation completeness and accuracy, database management, compliance tracking, reporting, quality control, improvement and client assistance.
IDEAL CANDIDATES will have an intimate understanding of oil and gas field operations and have experience in performing environmental services for the Oil & Gas Industry including, but not limited to, leak detection for all methods and tools (OGI, M21, Hi-flow sampler, VPAC, Drone, etc.), sensor maintenance, sample collection, equipment inventories and engine testing. This opportunity is a 50% field position and will require travel throughout the USA. The Manager will report to the Director of Operations. The successful candidate will be required to take several safety training courses prior to initiating any field activities. Any candidates that already have valid training and certifications will be given preference. This position includes a comprehensive safety and technical training program (both field and office based).
Duties/Responsibilities:
Act as a representative of Alliance for the Oil & Gas Industry
Responsible for staff and the overall quality and improvement of their work
Responsible for ensuring skill development of employees
Perform all duties with integrity, safety and professionalism
Promote a positive work/team environment
Identify and implement program improvements, obtaining feedback from employees and clients
Report all non-conforming work and assist during RCA investigations and Corrective Action
Conduct safety, quality and operational performance reviews routinely
Manage all financial budgeting, tracking and invoicing of project costs in an accurate and timely manner
Prepare, maintain and communicate the schedule to employees and clients
Review all time and project expenses for completeness and accuracy and approve or deny timely
Coordinate ordering of necessary supplies, equipment, and PPE as necessary
Review monitoring routes and schedules for efficiency and accuracy
Ensure team attends all necessary training and maintains certifications as required
Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting
Work collaboratively with the OGI Center of Excellence to improve performance and accuracy of data
Ensure all team members are performing required tasks efficiently, accurately and safely
Ensure effective and timely communication with all personnel and clients
Participate in and lead training for career development, safety and maintaining required certifications
Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and good judgement when dealing with sensitive company, personnel and client information.
Identify needed accountability and reward recognition
Perform any other duties assigned by client or manager(s)
Necessary Qualifications:
Effective computer skills (Microsoft Office are essential) and proficiency with Android OS
High Level Knowledge of EPA Subpart OOOOa, OOOOb, R, BBBBBB, XXa, Appendix K, AWP, and W requirements, including state regulatory requirements
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Enjoy being outdoors, working safely in all weather conditions
Ability and desire to be on your feet, lift equipment up to 40 pounds, climb ladders or stairs and work at elevated heights
Degree in environmental, engineering, petroleum or mechanical sciences, or related experience skill and ability is highly preferred
Experience related to emissions testing work (OGI) is required with 1400 career hours and Appendix K certified
Experience with or strong aptitude to learn the use of databases and computers
Proficient in LDAR related hardware and tools
Proficient in LDAR database software programs
Detail Orientated
Possess strong problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to travel
